There are many avenues you can take to reach the \u201charmonious zone\u201d a place that offers not only peace of mind but healing and loving presence. Being present is the first step towards heartfulness. When we are mindful, we can more clearly see the key we need to open the door and enter the “golden mean.”  The “golden mean” energy ignites when we allow compassion to enter our heart and turn it inside out and we begin to live life from that perspective. Compassion is reciprocal and returns more energy that we give out. Each time we show compassion to someone we have increased our energy and frequency. Consider it a type of ascension in vibration \u201cHz\u201d of life.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you become present in this moment, you can begin to focus on your breathing by breathing in through your nose and mouth with a six-second count with both in and out breaths. Sit or lay down in a comfortable place and close your eyes.  Begin to breathe in and out through your nose comfortably and regularly. Place your hands on your heart and breath into your heart center. With each breath in focus on love and light and with the out breath focus on gratitude. As you relax your body and mind, you will move from Beta wave “active” and enter the relaxed states of Alpha, Theta, and possibly Delta if you want to have a power nap.  
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research has shown that certain brainwave frequencies (especially the Alpha and Theta) can:

1. Relieve stress and promote a lasting and substantial reduction in people prone to anxiety states.

2. Facilitate deep physical relaxation and mental clarity.

3. Increase verbal ability and also the performance IQ, verbal.

4. Better synchronize the two hemispheres of the brain.

5. Recall mental images live and spontaneous imaginative and creative thinking.

6. Reduce pain, promote euphoria, and stimulate the release of endorphins<\/strong>.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent research in neurology and neuro-cardiology into the neural components, or “brain,” of the heart is two-way communication. \u00a0Upon reaching the Theta State, a state of profound relaxation, as brain waves are slowed down at a frequency of 4-7 cycles per second. \u00a0Theta brain waves are considered the subconscious; they govern the part of our mind that lies between the conscious and the unconscious. \u00a0The subconscious brain stores our retained memories and feelings are stored. \u00a0Theta waves are always creatively characterized by feelings of inspiration and contemplation of spiritual presence. \u00a0In the theta relaxed mental state, you can begin to act below the level of the conscious mind. \u00a0When we become aware of the heart-mind connection, we find the key to open to door to endless possibilities merging here and now. \u00a0
