Research has shown the importance of daily meditation practices. This can aid in learning mindfulness and establishing heart-brain coherence. You can begin with the practice of deep breathing, and relaxation; however, there is a deeper meditation practice of “letting go” of anything that does not serve your highest good.

Our divine Source creator is pure Agape love that is in everything on Earth in nature. The heavens (universe) in what science has called dark matter and research has recently discovered the dark matter is a web or “field of energy” that connects everything in the universe or multiverse.

The benefits of letting go are also part of forgiveness. Nature is always teaching us. Learning to let go and trust Agape is not always as easy as it sounds. When the trees “drop” their leaves in the Fall season, we can picture each leaf being a story like a scene in a movie. The scene is a dramatic one that has lots of entangled low energy guilt, fear, or anger that needs to be let go.

The subconscious mind stores all memories of the glorious and challenging days. The path which unfolds is always teaching us as we make sense of how we got here. We must let go of the stories that keep us trapped in our minds with rising intrusive thoughts.

The first step of forgiving ourselves for our confusion and forgiving the other “actors,” which caused us pain in their confusion. We have archived these scenes like a silent movie in our subconscious. We are replaying the old movies in our minds that can impact our perception and ability to move on from traumatic life experiences.

You have heard the old saying that “practice makes perfect,” which includes “discipline” and looking at the priorities in life. What offers value in your life and can feed your mind, body, and spirit. Taking time to meditate, contemplate, and pray requires us to find a minimum of five to ten minutes a day of “alone time.”

You may take that time by listening to music and beginning by doing your deep breathing for good health. If you have distracting sounds around you, try using “noise-canceling headphones” or, if possible, just sitting alone in silence to begin the practice a “letting go meditation.”

Begin by breathing in through your nose to the count of six. Hold one second. Then breathing out through your nose to the count of six and hold and breathe in again. After three breaths, you should begin to settle in that rhythm of breathing without having to focus completely on the breathing.

During meditation, close your eyes, and see what pictures come to your mind, acknowledge them; however, the discipline is to learn to let go if the picture causes pain or instills fear. Fear is the anchor that holds us back from finding our true selves and purpose now. You can attach some imagery from nature that reflects the letting go and being fully present to life and love. You may picture in your mind’s eye a tree with its leaves falling gently to the ground. With an understanding that you can let go of some hurtful chapters in your biographical storybook.

One of the ways I have learned to practice letting go is to close my eyes during meditation. In my mind’s eye, I can become an observer of myself. We see our true light-self inside the reflection of our eyes.

We know that reflections are usually caused by shiny things, such as mirrors that show a reversed image of whatever is placed in front of them. The image seems to be as far behind the mirror as the object is in front of it. Not only mirrors make reflections; however, water and other objects also reflect some of the light images that fall on them.

During our meditation, we now see inward expansively as if to discover an entire universe yet to be explored. When you look into your own eyes with gratitude in the eyes of your mind, you may see loving eyes looking back at you. Smile to your heart and feel yourself “light up,” offering you a feeling of “I am home in love.”

If you would like to add a silent prayer with feelings of gratitude, you can begin to breathe in the feeling of gratitude, pause smile to your inner heart, breathe out, and let go. We trust in our Creator Source of Agape with faith everything will work out to the highest good of all.

There are certain truths that “we know,” which have been affirmed by ancient wisdom and are merging with scientific discoveries. We begin to open our eyes to who we are and why we are here now. I like to call this “we know.”

Dr. Karl Jung stated the following in a BCC interview, the radio host asked, “Dr. Jung to you believe in God?” Dr. Jung paused and replied, “I know God.” We will all have many different “we know” things because of our different life paths. However, if you would consider some of these universal “we know” that come from our lived experiences, you might find it is worth the “knowing and trusting” to truly let go of things that no longer serve your life.

Nature happens all the time in perfect timing. As human beings in a fast-paced society, we will try and force outcomes due to a lack of patience, fear, and ego.

What would happen:

… if we allowed ourselves five to ten minutes a day to do deep breathing?

…when we learn to be content in all life experiences?

… when you allow life to happen (like nature)?

We are understanding that being mindful is awe-inspiring in the presence of “Big Love,” and we find gratitude for each breath.

Namaste’ Meditation Research has shown the importance of daily meditation practices.
